Steps to Savings
To enroll in courses at Quincy College and access the $200 per course discount, please follow the steps below:
Apply to Quincy College
You can apply to Quincy College online by completing the unique Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department application. By entering PCSD in the waiver code field at the end of the application, we will waive the $30 application fee!
Submit an official high school and college (if applicable) transcripts to the Quincy College Admissions Office at 1250 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
Apply for Financial Aid
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at www.fafsa.gov and submit required documents to the Financial Aid Office. Quincy College school code is 002205.
Take the Placement Test
Complete the Quincy College Placement Test for Math and English. An appointment is not required but please bring a valid photo ID. View the Testing Center schedules>>
Meet with an Advisor
The Academic Advising Office operates on a walk-in basis. Advisors can help you select your classes based on your placement scores. Make an appointment>>
Register for Classes
Register online through the QC Portal or in person at the Registrar’s Office. Please have a valid ID and a recent Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department pay stub when registering in person. If you are registering online, please send to the Admissions Office a copy of a recent pay stub and have an ID (i.e. driver’s license, passport) on file. This will ensure the discount is applied to your account.
Plan a Visit
Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department employees can visit the QC campus to learn about the available opportunities. QC has counselors available to talk to students every day.
