Doing Business
with Chinese Communities
The
rapidly expanding Chinese community in the
Quincy area represents a promising new market. This
course provides you with insights and perspectives
needed to more confidently evaluate both the
opportunities and risks of working with the Chinese
community. It offers an introduction to a
variety of areas to be explored including general
information & demographic changes, situation
analysis, Chinese media overview - cost and
effectiveness, hiring of bilingual staff, bilingual
and bi-cultural capacity building, and cultural
sensitivity and competency.
Ms. Betty Yau, a long-time Quincy
resident and leading practitioner in the field of
marketing to local Chinese communities, will
facilitate this hands on program that assures that
you will get new ideas that you will need to grow
your business.
