The Program of Studies Leading to the Certificate
Prerequisites
• Qualified Allied Health Admissions Test Scores
• Official High School or GED Transcript (sealed)
• ALH 107 Orientation to Health Care
• ALH 140 Medical Terminology
For the upcoming academic year, qualified applicants can be granted
provisional acceptance if they can demonstrate satisfactory
progress in the prerequisite courses. Completed prerequisite
coursework is not required at the
time of application.
Both ALH 107 and ALH 140 are offered during the Summer session.

Students must be certified in CPR for the Health Care Provider prior to the completion of the Fall semester.
The passing grade for all courses is “C” (73%). Students may not continue in the program if they earn less than a “C” in a course.
