CLUELE$$ - A FREE Seminar in Game Show format

The Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of American Pop Culture
From Little House to YouTube

Whomever said learning wasn’t fun probably never had the opportunity to take a course at Quincy College, especially one that is not only FREE to attend for three consecutive sessions, but one which will award a FREE course of the winner’s choice each night!

Starting on Wednesday, Feb. 13th and running for two consecutive Wednesday nights thereafter, Quincy College, as part of its student and community outreach mission, is launching its first Game Show/Seminar combo to illustrate why learning can not only be fun, but why becoming a student at Quincy College means receiving both a quality education as well as a real-life understanding of how it all comes together to enrich your life.

Covering American Pop Culture from Tin Pan Alley to The Beat Generation to Hip Hop, from FDR to Watergate, to Whitewater, Monica Lewinsky and all things Politically Incorrect, the Pop Culture Seminar/Game Show will also be exploring television, radio and of course, the Internet.

In other words, it will be like nothing you’ve ever seen nor been a part of before.

As if that’s not enough to intrigue - - - and following our school’s desire to be technologically and socially cutting-edge - - - we also plan to broadcast these three nights LIVE over the Internet.

Drop-ins are always welcome but due to space limitations in the Atrium inside Newport Hall, 150 Newport Avenue, Quincy, we strongly request/recommend/implore that you call Gary Wallrapp, Director of Community and Workforce Education. Call (617) 984-1662, or e-mail him at gwallrapp@quincycollege.edu to secure your place.
