
Did you know, you could get college credits
from your life and work experiences?
Have you been running a successful business for a number
of years? Do you work on a computer at your job and
are very familiar with Microsoft Office and other programs?
Then could earn you credit towards Business or
Computer Courses. Quincy College awards
credits for learning that you already acquired from your
life or work experiences. What you have learned can be
submitted in a portfolio and is then compared with what
would be gained through Quincy College coursework. All
credit earned must then be approved by a Review Committee.
To be eligible a student must:
- Be enrolled in a certificate
or a degree program*
- Have already completed 12 credits
at Quincy College
- Be in a good academic standing
- Be at least 24 years
of age
- Must have a resume that demonstrates the type
of experience appropriate for academic college-level
credit
