Become a Quincy College Fellow!

Our Quincy College Fellow initiative is expanding this Fall 2007, the Fellows program helps new prospective degree and certificate seeking students to get the tools needed to achieve their educational goals! Whether the goal is an advanced degree or a full-time job, let our peer counselors get you started on your educational plan! Invest in your future now and you’ll be able to work with a peer counselor who will help you through the enrollment process all the way to the end of your first semester at QC. You’ll also have a faculty mentor and advisor who are there to help you make the choices that work for you.

Why become a QC Fellow?

In addition to the guidance and mentoring you’ll get from faculty and staff, you’ll also receive:

  • a discount on tuition
  • a voucher for books at the College Bookstore
  • some free introductory Microsoft training
  • a discount coupon for a Dell laptop
  • and MUCH MORE!

What do I have to do to be a QC Fellow?

Through this program, Quincy College commits to help you reach your goals! And we want you to be committed, too! To take advantage of this program, students sign a mutual agreement in which they make a formal commitment to their education. Some of the elements in this agreement are:

  • to take the CareerScope survey so we can help you discover your talents and interests
  • to take the Accuplacer so we can make sure you register for the classes best suited to yo
  • to develop an Educational Plan and Career Plan with your advisor and faculty mentor
  • to take the courses and pre-requisites advised each semester
  • to donate some of your time for college/community service during your 2nd year
