2nd Annual Quincy Health & Wellness Expo

Quincy Collge is pleased to host the 2nd Annual Health & Wellness
Expo, which will focus on general wellness and highlight
urgent local health issues. There will
be something for everyone, from children to seniors,
including free giveaways and interactive activities.
The goal of the fair is to promote physical and mental health
for people of all ages and bring various community based
organizations together in order to collaborate on effective
ways to improve the health and wellness of Quincy residents.
Over
30 exhibitors, including Quincy College RN student groups
will be on hand with demonstrations such as blood pressure
screenings and plenty of helpful tips. Representatives
from the Dana Farber Cancer Institute will be in Coddington
Hall lot with the Blum Family Educational Van.
The participating exhibitors at this year's Expo include: Blue
Hills Tobacco Free Community Coalition Network, Dana
Farber Cancer Institute, DPH Health Education & Outreach
Program, Hospice of the South Shore, IMPACT Quincy,
Quincy College Human Services Program, Quincy Council
on Aging, Quincy Medical Center, Quincy Public Health
Dept., Quincy WIC Nutrition Program, Regional Center
for Healthy Communities (Metrowest), South Bay Mental
Health, South Shore Hospital, South Shore
Mental Health, SuperFITNESS, and 20 groups of
Quincy College RN students.
