Credits earned at other accredited, degree-granting institutions
may be applied toward your degree or certificate program at Quincy
College. A maximum of 30 credits may be transferred towards an Associate
degree and a maximum of 15 credits may be transferred towards a certificate
program.
To transfer credits, have your former college send an official transcript
of your grades to:
Quincy
College Enrollment Office
24 Saville Avenue
Quincy, MA 02169
To qualify for transfer credit, courses must correspond to offerings
at Quincy College and a minimum grade of “C” must have
been earned. Students are required to provide a catalog or an official
course description from the institution where the credits were earned.
Science transfer credits are good for 5 years if you are enrolling
in our Allied Health programs and 10 years if you are enrolling in
any non-Allied Health major. Computer transfer credits are good for
7 years. Laboratory science courses transferred to any of our Allied
Health programs must have been completed within the time period requirement
of the specific program. Courses will be accepted without regard to
age, except in those subjects where, in the judgment of Quincy College,
the subject matter of the course has materially changed.
In order to transfer credits to Quincy College, the student must
be either enrolled in or have completed 12 credit hours at Quincy
College.
