| A practical knowledge of contemporary
conversational Italian acquired through hearing the
spoken word and studying the basic language skills of
grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and
readings. Development of an understanding of Italian

| This course assists the student
in gaining a solid understanding of the foundation of the
language with strong emphasis on the four basic
