QUINCY COLLEGE CHANGED MY LIFE
Education has always been a priority of mine, and Quincy College provided the support and means to achieve my academic goals. As an international student from Columbia, the decision to leave my family and come to the United States to learn English and improve my business skills was a difficult one.
After attending college courses in Florida and Alabama, I knew I wanted to enter a business program in the academically-enriched Boston area. A friend referred me to Quincy College due to its small class sizes, student diversity, and experienced faculty. The College’s reputation and large selection of course offerings impressed me and I enrolled as a full-time student in the Business Administration program in January 2002.
My time at Quincy College was an extremely positive experience. The diversity
on campus offers support to international students, and also benefits students
from the Quincy area by exposing them to so many different cultures. There are
few places where you have the opportunity to interact and be friends with people
from
so many countries on a daily basis. Best of all, I earned my Associate’s Degree
and learned from a group of extraordinary professors. I am excited to begin my
business career in Boston, and I thank Quincy College for that opportunity!
