WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT QUINCY COLLEGE?

I love the extraordinary diversity of ideas among people at Quincy College. I love the open and accepting atmosphere that allows people to succeed. I have taught in many other schools and I have never had the access to so many ideas from around the world. Quincy College not only provides academic support to students, but also offers teachers a unique opportunity to explore their own areas of study. By making professional development a priority, the College has allowed me to improve as a teacher and offer more to my students.

WHAT IS YOUR PHILOSOPHY OF TEACHING?

It is important that my classroom be a free and open forum for students to ask questions without fear, and one that provides an environment in which they can each achieve their fullest potential. Success is the ability for as many voices to be heard as possible. I tell students not to simply believe everything I say, but to take the initiative to discover the truth for themselves.
