Finding your true path in life is not easy. Quincy College can help fulfill a dream, but it can also help you find a new one.

I wanted to study communications, but I wasn’t sure if that was what I really wanted to do. At the time it gave me a goal to work towards, but I still felt as if there was something else out there that I could do where I belonged.

I chose Quincy College primarily for its affordability, and especially because it was a two year school. I figured it wasn’t as much as a commitment than if I had gone to study at a four year institution. It also gave me the flexibility I needed to start working, which, in turn is where I was able to find my niche: in health care.

After working as an EMT for a large ambulatory company in the region, I finally decided that I wanted to be a registered nurse in Pediatrics. Not only did I feel as if I had discovered something about myself, but I also knew that Quincy College had a great nursing program that would fit right in with my schedule.

Now I have an easy commute to class, and when I graduate, I will be debt-free and ready to start working in Pediatrics. I could not have imagined how stuck I would be if I didn’t have the flexibility I needed to give me a sense of where I wanted to do with my career. Thanks to Quincy College, I have a solid future doing what I love.
