American Association of Community Colleges

The American Association of Community Colleges is the primary advocacy organization for the
nation's community colleges. The Association represents more than 1,100 associate degree-granting institutions and some 10 million students. Formed in 1920, AACC is a national voice for community colleges, which marked their 100th year of service to the nation in 2001. AACC is leading the celebration of the colleges as they provide learning opportunities to their students and communities and the nation.

American Council on Education

ACE, the major coordinating body for all the nation's higher education institutions, seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice on key higher education issues and to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives.

Its members include approximately 1,800 accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities and higher education-related associations, organizations, and corporations. Founded in 1918, ACE fosters greater collaboration and new partnerships within and outside the higher education community to help colleges and universities anticipate and address the challenges of the 21st century and contribute to a stronger nation and a better world.

ASC English

Being prepared is a key to academic success. Students who have completed secondary school but do not meet Quincy College's English language proficiency requirement can obtain conditional admission through enrollment at ASC English in Boston. Quincy College and ASC English have a partnership agreement that enables students to study English full-time at ASC English and then transfer to Quincy College when they achieve English proficiency. Students will get I-20's from ASC English which will indicate that the student has been conditionally admitted to Quincy College. This Program is designed to help a student's ability to be successful while they are enrolled at QC.

Cambridge College

Quincy College hopes to make your transition to another institution as smooth as possible. With the Cambridge College transfer agreement, Quincy College graduates can transfer up to 90 credits from their Quincy College degree plus other general education requirements taken at Quincy College to the Bachelor of Arts program in multidisciplinary studies at Cambridge College. Another great part of this relationship is that you don’t need to leave QC. Stay here and earn that four-year degree you have wanted to pursue. Other bachelor’s degree programs offered through the Quincy College/Cambridge College agreement include psychology, human services and management studies. QC students, alums, or transfers from other institutions are eligible for enrollment in a bachelors program with the Cambridge College partnership.

Council for Advancement and Support of Education

Headquartered in Washington, DC, with an office in London, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, and development.

Today CASE's membership includes more than 3,000 colleges, universities, and independent elementary and secondary schools in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and 42 other countries. This makes CASE the largest nonprofit education association in terms of institutional membership. We serve more than 38,000 advancement professionals on the staffs of our member institutions and have more than 23,500 professional members on our roster.

Excelsior College

For students whose lives are more constrained by time and place or for whom online learning makes more sense, we have partnered with Excelsior College. Students planning to go this route can complete their third year of college here at Quincy College at Quincy College rates. Similar to the partnership with Cambridge College, students receive final credits from Excelsior by choosing among their online offerings.

The South Shore Chamber is a not-for-profit association of more than 2,500 businesses in the communities south of Boston.
