New Degree Seeking Students
Students new to Quincy College, and are applying into a degree or certificate seeking program, should begin by completing an Admissions Application. Once you fill out the application follow these Easy Steps to Get Started.
New Non Degree Seeking Students
This is for students looking to take one or two courses at Quincy College, but are not seeking an associates degree or certificate. There's no application process. All you have to do is register. You can participate in Fall Semester even if you're enrolled at another institution. Once you fill out the Registration Form, you will be emailed a username and password to complete your registration.

Our open enrollment policy provides you the opportunity to further your education without the barriers or the wait. Flexible semesters begin throughout the year on our two convenient campus locations – Quincy and Plymouth Massachusetts - and online. Or try a Flex-Online course which combines in-person and online learning.

This fall we are inaugurating five new important certificate programs in Computer Game Development, Gerontology, Human Services, Substance Abuse, and Corrections Administration. More information is posted in the Certificate Programs sections below. We also are now offering an Associate Degree in Science in Security Management which provides students with knowledge about the theories and principles associated with multiple dimensions of the security industry.
Our certificate and degree programs are designed to provide students with specific skills and job training so they may enter the workforce in two years or less.
Quincy College has a variety of associate degree programs to choose from in Professional Programs, Liberal Arts, Natural & Health Science, and Nursing. Most credits earned at Quincy College are accepted for transfer to other colleges and universities. Quincy College has agreements with several institutions which allow graduates of some associate degree programs to transfer with advanced standing in specific baccalaureate programs. The courses taken at Quincy College count towards the bachelor’s degree just as if they had been taken at the four-year school. Credits earned at Quincy College are often one-third to one-half the cost of most four-year colleges.
Quincy College certificate programs are designed to provide students with specific skills and job training so they may enter the workforce in less than two years. Certificate programs are offered in a wide range of high demand fields such as computer science, surgical technology, paralegal studies, phlebotomy, practical nursing, biotechnology and compliance, law enforcement, exercise science/personal training, healthcare administration and early childhood education.
5 NEW CERTIFICATES in HIGH DEMAND CAREER FIELDS
Quincy College has just announced three new Certificate Programs which lead towards state licensure or professional development in high demand areas of employment. These certificate programs are designed to provide students with specific skills and job training so they may enter the workforce in less than a year. In addition, the credits earned in the certificate programs can be applied toward pursuing an associate degree:
• Human Services Certificate – Qualifies you for the Massachusetts Licensed Social Worker Assistant Exam.
• Substance Abuse Certificate – Qualifies you for the Massachusetts Alcohol and Drug Counselor II or Licensed Drug Counselor Assistant Exam.
• Corrections Administration Certificate - Prepares students to engage in the practice of private security at agencies such as hospitals, private corporations, event centers, and federal government contracting.
• Computer Game Development – Gives students the tools which they need to develop computer games.
• Gerontology – Prepares students to engage in the helping professions at entry levels in their communities, with a focus on working effectively with elders in variety of community settings.
