Institutional Research & Assessment
The Department of Institutional Research and Assessment is responsible for collecting, maintaining, compiling, and analyzing the official data about Quincy College that are used for a variety of purposes. Data that are generated by the Department are used to meet public disclosure requirements for both state and federal agencies. The Department also compiles data that are used by the Executive Staff for strategic planning purposes, and for other internal and external stakeholders.
The Department of Institutional Research and Assessment collects and maintains data that cover many areas, including the Program Review Committee, for evaluating courses, for personnel evaluations, for public disclosure of student success parameters (IPEDS retention and graduation rates, post-graduation employment rates, cost and financial disclosure requirements), to assess the employee work environment, and to gauge student satisfaction and engagement. The Department of Institutional Research and Assessment will also play a key role going forward in the development of a college-wide assessment program.
